We're seeking a highly motivated Fullstack Software Developer to join our growing engineering team and help build and scale the core infrastructure that powers our products. You'll be a key contributor across the entire product development lifecycle — design, architecture, implementation, testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance — building robust, scalable, performant systems in a collaborative, product-focused environment.

The heart of the job is full-lifecycle development: designing, building, testing, deploying, and maintaining high-quality full-stack applications. On the backend that means robust services and APIs in Node.js and/or Go; on the frontend, modern frameworks like React, Svelte, or similar. Some of the work is new features; just as much is improving the systems we already run.

You'll partner closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to understand user needs and translate them into detailed technical requirements — and you'll have a real voice in roadmap discussions, feature prioritization, and sprint planning.

You'll contribute to the design and evolution of our system architecture, keeping it robust, scalable, maintainable, and secure, and advocating for best practices across performance, security, fault tolerance, and cost-effectiveness. That includes the data layer: designing, implementing, and optimizing data models and query strategies across relational, NoSQL, and key-value stores, and writing and maintaining the migrations that keep them healthy.

Reliability is part of the craft here. You'll implement and maintain the monitoring, logging, and alerting that let us proactively track the health, performance, and security of our services, and you'll diagnose and resolve bottlenecks and production issues when they surface. You'll write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests, champion a culture of automated testing, and participate in — and lead — code reviews.

Day to day, you'll collaborate through code reviews, pair programming, and knowledge sharing; stay current with technologies and best practices; and proactively improve our systems, processes, and tooling. Contributing to CI/CD pipelines that automate build, test, and deployment is a welcome bonus, as is experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).

You have four or more years of experience in fullstack software development, with strong proficiency in a modern frontend framework like React or Svelte plus Node.js (TypeScript) and/or Go — and demonstrable production experience with at least one of them.

You think critically about product requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions, and you're at home in an agile environment. You have a solid grasp of system design — scalability, performance, security, fault tolerance — with distributed-systems experience a plus, and genuine database expertise across the likes of PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, and Cassandra, including schema design and query optimization.

You've worked with observability stacks such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog, or New Relic, and you've troubleshot real production systems. Beneath the specific tools, your fundamentals are strong and language-agnostic: you learn new technologies quickly, you debug complex issues methodically, and you can explain technical concepts clearly to technical and non-technical audiences alike.

None of this is required, but it will make us lean in: experience with DevOps practices and tools (Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines), with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), or with message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ) — and contributions to open-source projects.

Titles aside, here's the shape of the person we're looking for. You can build an application or API endpoint on your own, and you can deploy and manage both the frontend and the backend once it exists. You think about security considerations for every API and application you deploy. You understand infrastructure and system design — the difference between server-side and client-side rendering is second nature. You document your plans and delivered ideas well. And you grasp the fundamentals of the network layer, pick the best tool, framework, or language for the task at hand, and can model a database for scale.
