QA Engineer

We're looking for a QA Engineer who takes pride in shipping reliable software — designing test strategies, catching issues before users do, and championing quality across the entire development lifecycle for products used by millions.

You'll design and own the test plans, test cases, and QA strategy that cover our features and releases. Much of that is rigorous manual and exploratory testing of new features and regressions across web and mobile — thinking like a user, and then like an adversary. The rest is leverage: building and maintaining automated test suites across UI, API, and integration layers to scale coverage and speed up releases.

When you find problems, you'll write clear, reproducible bug reports and drive them to resolution with engineering. You'll own the go/no-go quality signals for releases, running regression and smoke tests as part of the release process, and you'll validate performance, responsiveness, and compatibility across devices and browsers.

Prevention beats detection, so you'll partner with developers and product early — catching issues in designs and requirements, not just in builds. And over time you'll keep improving our QA processes, tooling, and test coverage.

You have three to six years in QA and software testing, ideally on web and mobile products, with a strong grasp of QA methodologies, test design techniques, and the full testing lifecycle.

You're hands-on with at least one automation framework — Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, or similar — and comfortable testing APIs with Postman or other REST clients. You've worked in Agile/Scrum with tools like Jira, and you're technically fluent enough to read logs, understand basic app architecture, and write simple scripts and queries.

Above all, you have a sharp eye for edge cases and an instinct for where things break — and you communicate clearly, reporting crisply and collaborating well with developers and product.

Extra credit for performance and load testing (JMeter, k6) or security-testing basics, experience wiring automated tests into CI/CD, basic SQL for data validation, and time spent testing payment or donation flows or other high-scale consumer apps.

Titles aside, here's the shape of the person we're looking for. You can design a test strategy that actually catches the important bugs, and you automate the repetitive work so coverage scales. Your bug reports are ones engineers can act on immediately. You think about quality from the design stage, not just at the end — and you have an instinct for edge cases and for exactly where software breaks.
